GALLIVANTING THROUGH ATLANTA

Yesterday we woke up and got breakfast at the hotel, then decided that we would need some food for lunch and supper. I know. So genious. So we got our stuff together and shuttled to the airport. Of course we had to mooch off of the hotel's hospitable drive back and forth from the airport simply because our car is at Uncle Steve's up in John's Creek.

So from the air port, we hitched the Marta (awesome train) and went to Publix. It was a bit tricky finding it, but lots of people helped us out. There we obtained food that would make us last until today. But since we cannot take any food or drink into the air port, we just got some granola bars for snacking on, to satisfy the monster's moanings until supper...maybe...(they are really, really, really good!).

Coming back to the hotel was not so easy though because our shuttle was not there to pick us up. So, we had to wait....and wait....and wait. But we finally called the shuttle service after the long wait, they picked us up and we made it back to the hotel (home sweet home).

Today, we're up early - 5:00am! They'll be kicking us out at 11:00am, then we'll go on to the airport to make our flight to London at 5:15 pm (Lord willing). We have confirmed tickets. And I really hope to get a window seat! Oh and now that I've experienced the security check part, flying does not seem so bad...hahaha!

Love from the not-so-scared-anymore-kiddo,

-Caroline
