The shifting gears in my brain in so many new circumstances is preparing me for driving on the British (and Japanese) side of the road.
Without the gory details of the switching of flights from Amsterdam to Manchester, then to London Heathrow, suffice it to say we have confirmed flights to London Gatwick on June 9 at 5:15pm. We are at the Days Inn on Best Road right beside the airport. The kids are having a ball (The phrase is almost singable for some reason).
The clerk at Best Western in Keswick, England was kind enough to allow our reservations to be changed from June 8 to June 10.
The adventure continues...
